Milverton & District Archive
Discovering and Preserving Local History
(Registered Charity no. 1200287)
(Registered Charity no. 1200287)
The Milverton & District Archive holds a collection of documents and items, gathered together over several decades, which tell some of the history of Milverton and the people who have lived here.
The Archive includes over 1500 items at several locations around the village. We are seeking a permanent home which will allow access for research or display purposes, and are currently auditing the contents - read more about what we have here. We are also looking ahead to digitisation which will provide online access for researchers both in the village and further afield.
How you can get involved with the Archive
Auditing the Archive contents – we are reviewing the database which lists the documents, maps and artefacts in the Archive. Anyone interested in volunteering to help (which offers a great insight into the wide range of information we hold), please get in touch at chairman@milvertondistrictarchive.co.uk
If you have anything to share about the village and surrounding area, or relevant items to donate to the Archive, please get in touch with us.
